Just wanted to update quickly and let everyone know that Emma Kate was born yesterday 8/19/08 at 4:37 pm. She weighs 5 lbs 13 oz and is 19 1/4 inches. She is beautiful and other than her heart, she's healthy and looks great! Her oxygen levels are high and she is breathing room air. She'll probably be transported to Atlanta today sometime, but we have not talked to the doctors as of yet. We will find out more details and post them as soon as we know.

ReplyDeleteWhat a little sweet honey girl she is! Beautiful, Bethany! I read Brooks' sister's posts about your labor and such...good job! I can't wait until you and I can chat on the phone about the whole delivery and such. I miss you....I might try to come up there, we're talking about it. I definitely don't want to be in the way, so we'll see. Still praying for you! Love you guys!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on beautiful Emma Kate! She's adorable, and I can already see a resemblance to Anna Brooke and you (from pictures on Brooks's blog). I know you're so happy to finally have her here. I will continue to pray for all of you as you near Emma Kate's surgery. What a blessing that everything is going so well so far! And I hope you recover from delivery and are feeling 100% very soon. You are in my prayers!
